She is a member of the senior band, the Pepe Band, the school's dance band and chorus. She is on the editorial staff of the school annual and the staff of the school paper. Lila has been active in the Library Club, Drama Club, Science Club and forensics. She wasn't absent or tardy the past two school years.

The D.A.R. Award consists of an engraved certificate, which is presented to the winner at graduation.
