Fremont (20 Feb 1919)

The Young People’s Society met at the C.J. Bigelow home Sunday evening. The next meeting will be held at the Johnnie Davis home.

Miss Pheona Bruss was on the sick list last week, with an abscess in her head.

Luther Lindow and wife, Vera Slover and David Phillips autoed to Marshfield Monday afternoon.

David Phillips returned to Tioga Tuesday.

Vera Slover went to Tioga Tuesday for a few days’ visit with relatives and friends.

C.J. Bigelow delivered a calf and a hog at Chili Tuesday.

Helen Lindow helped sew and put down the carpet in the Evangelical Church Tuesday.

Edwin Meissner had a narrow escape from being killed last Thursday. He was chopping wood and a limb struck him in the head, which caused him to have a bad headache.

Mrs. Minnie Garbisch of Granton visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grobe, last week.

Miss Bruss called on Mrs. Luther Lindow Saturday forenoon.

Vera Slover returned home from Tioga Saturday.

Glen Hill spent Sunday with Ralph Bigelow.

Mrs. Mabel Dickerson called on Mrs. C.J. Bigelow Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Lindow, Mrs. W. Loy and Mrs. Bigelow were all on the sick list last week.
