Fremont (27 Feb 1919)

Ralph Bigelow hauled wood to Mr. Webster for Henry Krause Monday.

Mrs. Minnie Garbisch visited her sister, Bertha Meisner, Monday.

Mrs. Bertha Meisner is suffering with a felon.

Mrs. Wm. Lindow, Luther Lindow and Vera Slover spent Monday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Grobe and family.

Paul Bealer’s all have the flu.

Luther Lindow, wife and children autoed to Marshfield Tuesday.

We were told that Aug. Bealer is doing chores for his brother, Paul, while they are sick with the flu.

The neighbors gave Mrs. Bulgrene a surprise Tuesday night in honor of her birthday. The evening was spent in dancing, after which a fine supper was served. Miss Vera Slover furnished the music.

Gustave Kaddatz and sister, Minnie Bell, received word Tuesday evening of the illness of their mother, Mrs. Regner. They both left on the midnight train to see her.

The young people gave Mary Grobe a surprise party Wednesday evening at the home of her sister, Mrs. Lena Bealer. It was Mary’s birthday. The evening was spent in games and music. After partaking of a fine lunch, the guests departed at about 2 o’clock, wishing Miss Mary many more happy birthdays.

Miss Velora Dickerson celebrated her ninth birthday Saturday. A number of her schoolmates were invited in to spend the afternoon and stay for supper.

C.J. Bigelow and family, Mrs. Loy and Wait Wilcox and wife visited with Clarence Wilcox and family Sunday.

Vera Slover visited with Mrs. Wordell Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Luther Lindow and children autoed to Granton Sunday afternoon.
