Mueller, William (26 DEC 1896 – 21 MAR 1968)

William Mueller, 71, Colby, died Thursday morning, March 21, 1968, at Sacred Heart Hospital at Eau Claire.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 23 at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby, with the Rev. David Pankow officiating. Burial was made in Colby Memorial Cemetery.

The Lulloff Funeral Home of Colby was in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Hansen, Spencer, accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Lawrence Priem, sang "What God Ordains is Always Good" and "I Feel Asleep in Jesus' Wounds."

Pallbearers were George Weller, Colby, Clarence Weller, Abbotsford, Arnold Weller, Milwaukee, Erwin Weller, Marshfield, John Kastorff, Fond du Lac, and Henry Hoffman, Stratford.

Honorary pallbearers were William Sedlack, Colby, Edgar Laux, Colby, Earl Boss, Colby, Clarence Rankl, Abbotsford, Raymond Kiefer, Abbotsford, Raymond Storch, Stetsonville, and Wilbur Becker, Colby.

William Henry Mueller was born in the town of Colby (Clark Co., Wis.) December 26, 1896. He received his education in local schools, and farmed his entire life in the town of Colby, until this past summer, when he retired.

On October 15, 1955, he was married to Hazel Baumgarten at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby.

Mr. Mueller was a director of the Hull Town Mutual Insurance Co., and a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

He had been in ill health since his retirement.

He is survived by his wife; two brothers, Edward Mueller of Colby and Walter Mueller of Athens, and a sister, Mrs. Fred (Evelyn) Beissner of Dorchester.
