Umlauft, Anna M. (17 MAR 1890 – 23 MAR 1968)

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna M. Umlauft, 78, Dorchester, were held at St. Louis Catholic Church there Tuesday, March 26.

She died Saturday at Medford Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for a week, following a stroke.

The Rev. Gerald Schuh officiated at the services, and interment was made in Dochester Memorial Cemetery.

The Maurina Funeral Home of Dorchester was in charge of arrangements.

The former Anna M. Pueschner was born March 17, 1890, in Germany. Her family came to America and settled in the Dorchester area while she was still a child. She was married to Rudolph Umlauft January 12, 1909, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester.

They farmed in the town of Holton until his death in 1947. In 1950, Mrs. Umlauft moved to Dorchester.

Surviving are three sons, Irving of Dorchester, Henry of Marshfield, and Frank of Stetsonville, and four daughters, Mrs. Anton (Helen) Riegert, Stetsonville, Mrs. Louis (Lorraine) Laski, Curtiss, Mrs. Orville (Marcella) Oehler, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Helvin (Ruth) Juedes of Dorchester. There are 20 grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren.

There are also two sisters, Mrs. John (Mary) Boxrucker of Abbotsford and Mrs. Richard (Elsie) White of Sheboygan. A sister preceded her in death.
