Schief, Myrtle (17 FEB 1896 – 26 APR 1968)

Funeral services for Mrs. Alvin (Myrtle) Schief, 72, Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.(, who died of a heart condition Friday, April 26, 1968, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, were held Sunday afternoon. The Rev. Henry Bahrenburg Jr. officiated at the 1:30 o'clock services held at Salem Evangelical United Brethren Church, Dorchester. Burial was made in Evergreen Cemetery, Medford.

Mrs. Schief was born February 17, 1896, at Medford. She was a graduate of Medford High School and Wisconsin State University, Whitewater. She taught school at Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Waseca, Minn.

After her marriage to Dr. Alvin W. Schief on June 21, 1920, at Medford. The couple made their home in Dorchester.

Mrs. Schief was a member of the Salem Evangelical United Brethren Church at Dorchester, and the Eastern Star of Abbotsford.

In addition to her husband, survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Norman (Phyllis) Seipp, route 4, Wausau; a son, Gordon, Waterloo, Iowa, and four grandchildren.
