Huhn, Franklin (10 APR 1918 – 23 MAY 1968)

Franklin Huhn, 50, Boston, Mass, died at a hospital there on Thursday afternoon, May 23, 1968, following a lingering illness. Mr. Huhn, known to many people in the Colby area, was born in Marathon County, Wisconsin and had lived in Boston the past eight years. His wife survives him. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 27, at Boston.

Attending the funeral from this area were his sister, Mrs. Arnold Krueger, Colby, and his brothers, Ferdinand of Milan, Milton of Tomahawk, and Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Huhn, Marengo.

Mr. Huhn was born in the town of Hull April 10, 1918, and received his education in Colby schools. He resided in Boston for the past eight years. He was also a veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife, the former Pearl McGinnis; a sister, Mrs. Arnold (Lois) Krueger of route 1, Colby; and five brothers, Ferdinand of Milan, Neal of Colby, Milton of Tomahawk, Errol of Cadott, and Orin of Marengo.
