The coronation ceremonies of the 1963 Homecoming will officially take place at
10:45 p.m. in the Greenwood High School Gymnasium. The victor from the
Greenwood-Cadott football game will have been decided, the awards presented for
the outstanding floats from the Homecoming Parade, the bonfire extinguished and
all eyes will be focused on the royalty of this important school year event. The
football team has selected Ralph Klinke as their representative for Homecoming
King, and he in turn, has chosen Patricia Bushman as his Queen.
King Ralph is the son of Mrs. Olive Klinke and is a senior student at the high
school. Ralph has been an active member of the football squad and also has
participated in wrestling, and is a member of the Lettermen's club. Queen
Patricia, a senior, is active in Pep Club, GAA, Echo, and a participant in drama
activities. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Al Bushman.
Music for dancing will be furnished by Howie Sturtz and his orchestra.
The students and public are invited to attend the 1963 Homecoming events.
