Barbara M. Meyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell H. Meyer, Colby, has been named valedictorian of the 1969 Colby High School graduating class. Among Barbara's activities during her four years of high school are chorus, newspaper staff, National Honor Society, National Merit Scholarship finalist, Masquers Club and Badger Girls' State representative. Her future plans include attending Wisconsin state University, at Eau Claire in the fall and majoring in social science.

Arlene F. Dommer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonhard Dommer, route 2, Colby, has been named the salutatorian for the 1969 Colby High School graduating class. Arlene's activities during her past four year in high school include band, GAA, Masques Club, AFS Club and Library Club. She plans to attend Wisconsin State University at Eau Claire in the fall and major in elementary education.
