Mrs. Lawrence Bartz and Gary left from the Minneapolis airport Saturday for a visit with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Pozombke, in Anchorage, Alaska.

Last week Mr. and Mrs. Garry Thiede and son visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Anderson, for a few days. He was recently discharged from the Army. They are living in Oshkosh. He began work in Neenah March 1.

The snowstorm on Saturday prevented Mr. and Mrs. Roy Ortez from reaching their home here. Rick Bartsch took the snowmobile over to Erlin Dahl's and brought Mrs. Susie Ascension and Tony, and Tony Hernandez, but Mr. and Mrs. Ortez and their friend, Frankie, spent the night at the Dahl home.

Mark and Bruce Crothers arrived home Friday evening for a weekend visit at their home here. Bruce will return to register for the Spring Quarter at River Falls on Wednesday, March 2.

Central Wisconsin has certainly be well-blessed with snow this season. It seems that there have been more cancelled and postponed events this winter than in many other years combined.
