On Saturday Mrs. John Neuman moved into a Spencer apartment at the following address, 102 West Main. Her granddaughter, Cathy, will stay with her for a while.

Mrs. Ed Kowalk and Terry were luncheon guests of Mrs. Henry Kurz and Corey on Tuesday.

Our sympathy to Albert Oelrich in the death of his brother Willard.

The Veefkind Homemakers trip to the Winnebago Children's Home in Neillsville was changed to May 12 at 1:30. The club's regular monthly meeting will be held on Thursday, May 20th at the Robert Brett home.

Mrs. Lee Jackson and Mrs. Harold Florey attended a local auction on Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. Ray Metcalfe and Mrs. Harold Florey and Mrs. Henry Kurz attended the First Farm Bureau Women's Rural Urban held at the Knight Inn in Marshfield on Saturday afternoon. All three won door prizes. A luncheon was held at noon, followed with a program to better relationships with the 80 city and country women that attended from Portage, Lincoln, Marathon, Wood and Clark Counties.

Eldon Henninger, son of Ruth and the late Ferdinand Henninger, will graduate from North Central Technical Institute, Wausau, on June 3rd with an associate degree in data processing. The Henningeres lived on the Dave McKenna farm in the Veefkind area.

Eldon will wed Miss Hammond, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Z. Hammond of Marshfield on May 29th. We with them every happiness.

Mrs. Henry Kurz visited with Mrs. Paul Egner and sons, on Wednesday evening.

Sherman Farm Bureau Council will meet at the Walter Viergutz home on Thursday, May 13th.

Mr. and Mrs. Ross Stevens celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Thursday. They took Mrs. Stella Stevens and Mrs. Blanche Chapman of Loyal to dinner at the Star Lodge Motel in Loyal. We wish them many more anniversaries.

Mrs. Andy Balciar and Brenda of Marshfield were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Stevens. In the afternoon they all went to attend the surprise birthday party for Mrs. Stella Stevens, who is 90 years young, at Loyal. It was held at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Stevens. All her relatives were present to wish her a very happy birthday, as we do.

A baby boy was born on April 27, 1971 to Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Wolf at the Neillsville hospital. He made number one for his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Rakovec of Loyal, and the 48th for the former residents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wolf, now of Loyal. Congratulations to them all.

Raymond Kurz was an overnight guests of the Lynn Ward children of Loyal on Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Metcalfe spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Algene Schmidtke of Stratford, and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Metcalfe visited on Monday with Grace Hein, Bessy Wright, Joe Buhrow, May Joyanson and Mrs. Kammerer at the Neillsville Memorial Home.

Mr. and Mrs. Ted and Roger Metcalfe were Saturday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Metcalfe.
