The class of 1961 from Greenwood High School (Clark Co., Wis.) held their ten year class reunion Saturday, July 3rd, 1971, at the Village Plaza in Spencer. A meeting was held with Frank Parkel acting as master of ceremonies. The following were awarded prizes: Farthest away – Clifton Fonstad; Gained the most weight since 1961 – Richard Jasurda; Most children 0 Dorothy Fredrickson Goodman and William Lucas; First to reply – Frank and Kathy Parkel; First one at Reunion – Richard Jasurda; Youngest baby – Mrs. Phyllis Lamovec Anderson; Longest married – Dorothy Fredrickson Goodman; Most recently married – Allan Wessel; Lost the most hair – Richard Jasurda.

The committee in charge of arrangements for the reunion were as follows: Mrs. Carole Dillenbeck Toburen, Mrs. Alice Lindner Nielsen, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Standiford, Elmer Noah and Irving Timmler.

Mr. and Mrs. Leniel Meyers of Greenwood attended as honored guests of the class. He was and still is the math instructor in Greenwood High School. Several classmates commented that he was their favorite math instructor in high school (at that time he was the only math instructor). He told us of some of the changes made since 1961 and told about the new elementary school. We the Class of 1961 hope that Greenwood never loses him, because just think, Mr. Meyers, in a few years you'll have our children to look forward to!!!
