Rollie Benedict was pleasantly surprised Wednesday evening when a group of relatives and friends dropped by to help him celebrate his 60th birthday.

Present were Mr. and Mrs. George Bixby, Laurel, Debra, Cindy and Rodney, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Johnson and Luann, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Zvolena, Rev. and Mrs. Gene Carlson, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Falconer, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Holnbach, Mr. and Mrs. Nyle Benedict, Mrs. Frieda Frischman, Mrs. Helen Lawrence, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hetzel, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Chase, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Dahl, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Lavey, Mr. and Mrs. Melford Rowe, Warren Mechelke, Flossie Schmidtke, Mrs. Arnold Eppers, Mrs. Myrtie Davis, Warren Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Bender, Mrs. Merle Bartsch and Kay. A delicious lunch was served by the group and a lovely birthday cake was baked and trimmed by Debra Bixby.

Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Anderegg and family and Mrs. Susie Anderegg spent last Sunday at the Ringling Brothers Museum at Baraboo.

Mrs. Flossie Schmidtke was an overnight guest Saturday at her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Spangler, at Webster City, Iowa.

Mrs. Marvin Anderegg and Mrs. Susie Anderegg drove to Eau Claire Friday, at which time Mrs. Marvin Anderegg's son, Clay, had a check up on his ear and found it okay.

Mr. and Mrs. Arleigh Davis of Verona visited his sister, Frs. Flossie Schmidtke, Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Anderegg and family and Mrs. Susie Anderegg attended the Kresselt reunion held at Schuster Park in Neillsville on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Norman Geisler of Owen visited Sunday evening with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. James Hannan.

Mr. and Mrs. Rollie Benedict spent Sunday afternoon with Robert Smith at Loyal.
