Frank, Edwin (6 SEP 1895 – 5 AUG 1971)

Edwin Frank, 74, Spencer, died at his home on Thursday evening, August 5, 1971.

Funeral services for Mr. Frank were held Sunday afternoon at St. John's Lutheran Church, North Spencer, with the Rev. David Ault, pastor, officiating. Pallbearers were Martin Bruss, Leonard Bruss, Reuben Frank, Lester Frank, Eldred Toltzman, and Joe Sommerholder. The congregation sang "My Maker, Be Thou Nigh," and "Asleep in Jesus," accompanied by Miss Marcia Lynn at the organ. Burial was made in the church cemetery.

Edwin Frank was born September 6, 1895, in the township of Brighton, and received his education in Spencer. He lived on a farm near Spencer all his life, until moving into the village about seven years ago. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Frank Bruss and Mrs. Arthur Hass, both of Spencer; Mrs. Otto Roll, Mayville, and Mrs. Louis Bonack, Neenah; and seven brothers, Gust, Ernest, William, John, Alvin, and Oscar, all os Spencer, and Elmer Frank, Neenah.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
