Konieczny, Ronald “Ron” S. (28 SEP 1955 - 21 SEP 2016)

Ronald “Ron” S. Konieczny, 60, of Owen passed away on September 21, 2016 in Holway.

He was born on September 28, 1955 to Stanley and Adala (Collar) Konieczny. He was a graduate of Owen- Withee High School.

He married Sally Ann Kowalewski on September 23, 1976 in Medford. After school Ron went on to work at Weather Shield for 32 years. After Weather Shield Ron then went on to work for Turenne and Nestle.

In his spare time Ron enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, woodworking, gardening, raising llamas, caring for his lawn, drinking beer and listening to good tunes, camping, colorful campfires, watching the Packers, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Ron is survived by his wife Sally of Owen, children: Shannon (Patrick) Loucks of Curtis, Shawn (Sara) Konieczny of Medford, Sherri (Dustin) Dmytro of Gilman, grandchildren: Shawna, Bryant, Victoria, Clark, and Claire.

Ron is further survived by his mother, Adala, sisters: Kathy (Bill) Semanko of Junction City, KS, Karen (Lee) Paul of Medford, Linda (Don) Horgen of Almena, and Judy Bogdonovich of Stanley.

He is preceded in death by his father Stanley, father-in-law Vernon “Bud” Kowalewski, and mother-in-law Marjorie “Marge” Kowalewski.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at his residence at 3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers Memorial Donation in honor of Ron can be given to his family for designation at a later date.
