Dukart, Peter P. (11 OCT 1919 – 5 OCT 1966)

Funeral services were conducted Saturday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester, for Peter Joseph Dukart, 26 year old Clark County resident, who died at his home in the town of Hoard (Clark Co., Wis.), Wednesday, October 5, 1966. Rev. Gerald Schuh officiated at the 10:30 a.m. services and burial took place in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Joe Ackerman Jr., Virgil Bublitz and Gerald Wachsmuth, all of rural Owen' Herbert Goessl, rural Curtiss; John Hoper, Dorchester, and Richard Walter, Dickinson, N.D.

Mr. Dukart was born October 11, 1919 at Dickinson, N.D. His marriage to Anna Kolar took place there June 8, 1942. In 1962 they moved to the Owen area, where they operated a farm in the town of Hoard. Mr. Dukart was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children, Florence, Mrs. Andrew Hushka, Dickinson, N.D., and Shirley, Rosemary, Vernon and Francis, all at home; six brothers, Lawrence, Heaton, N.D.; Steve, Fargo, N.D.; and Alex, Leo, Jack and Frank, all of Dickinson, N.D.; six sisters, Mrs. Rose Ellis, Dickinson, N.D.; Mrs. Anna Leiable, St. Louis, Mo.; Mrs. Lydia Hanks, Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. Hilda Kardiner, Belfield, N.D.; Miss Elizabeth Dukart, Dickinson, N.D., and Sister Bertranda, Mankato, Minn.; and one grandchild.
