North York (3 Apr 1919)

Miss Elsie Metcalf called on Sadie Garbush Tuesday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wendt and daughter, Eva, were city callers Saturday.

The Misses Mary Wendt and Della McKimm called on Irene and Sadie Metcalf Sunday.

Elsie Metcalf returned home Monday from Neillsville, where she has been working for her aunt for two weeks.

Howard Bremer and lady friend were seen on our roads Sunday.

The carpenters have been working on Will Diercks’ barn the past week.

Mr. and Mrs. Will Diercks called on Mr. and Mrs. Frank Zickert Sunday.

Ervie Young called on Otto Grosnick Sunday.

Fred Wendt has been entertaining the wood sawyers for three days and while sawing Fred got his hand caught in the saw and cut three fingers quite badly.

Miss Gerda Tiller and Mary Wendt and Mattie Grosnick called on Elsie Metcalf Thursday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Grosnick were city callers Tuesday.

Chas. Shaw and Lennie Shaw were in this vicinity Friday.

Frank Northup hauled fence posts Friday.
