Hutchins, Catherine T. (20 AUG 1885 – 11 JUN 1967)

Catherine T. Hutchins, 81, a resident of the city of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) for the past 53 years, passed away June 11, 1967 at her home. She had been in failing health for the past several months.

Mrs. Hutchins was born August 20, 1885 at Drunanaughs, County Mayor, Ireland, and on May 4, 1904 she came to Neenah, Wisconsin. On June 4, 1906 she was united in marriage to Claude R. Hutchins in a ceremony performed at Ingram, Wisconsin. Tw years later the couple moved to Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), where they lived continuously, except for a six year period from 1921-27, when they resided at Rocham, South Dakota.

She is survived by a daughter, Miss Arlie Hutchins, Owen; two brothers, Thomas O'Malley of Castlebar, Ireland; John of Manulla, Ireland. Her husband preceded her in death in 1956.

Mr. Hutchins was a member of the 1st Congregational Church, Owen; a charter member of Owen Chapter 274, Order of Easter Star; Royal Neighbors of America, Camp No. 5365.

Services were conducted from the First Congregation Church here, with Rev. Robert Goessling officiating. Burial was made in the Riverside Cemetery. Eastern Star Services were conducted Tuesday evening.

Pallbearers were S.E. Grimes, W.R. Haire, Thorvald Ammentorp, H.M. Wollum, Charles Pribbernow and Donald Popple.

In charge of the floral offerings were Mesdames Geln Tieman, Donald Poppe, O.E. Parkinson, H.M. Wollum, Margaret Hoper and Natalie Scherf.
