Michlig, Mary G. (Feltz) (13 AUG 1916 - 12 MAY 2013)

Mary G. Michlig, 96, Edgar, died Sunday, May 12, 2013 under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice at the home of her son Ron, surrounded by her loving family.

The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Halder. The Rev. Barnabas Kyeah will preside.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a parish rosary service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Edgar funeral home.

She was born August 13, 1916 in Wausau, daughter of the late Valentine "William" and Magdalene (Lemanski) Feltz. On June 18, 1935 she married Arthur Michlig at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, town of Cassel. He preceded her in death on October 7, 1996.

Mary and Arthur farmed in the town of Emmet for many years. Some of favorite pastimes included gardening, doing jig saw puzzles and playing cards. Mary truly loved spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great grand children, whom she loved deeply.

Survivors include her children, Janet McNeil, Bloomington, Minnesota, Phyllis Heidelberger, Las Vegas, Mary Young, Marshfield, Dorothy (Michael) Zschernitz, Marshfield, Christine (Randy) Apfelbeck, Edgar, Steve Michlig, Edgar, Adrian (Charlene) Michlig, Marshfield and Ron (Mary) Michlig, Edgar, 22 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren, two brothers, Frank (Doris) Feltz, Edgar, Walter (Esther) Feltz, Stratford, one sister, Joan (Frank) Noonan, Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, one son-in-law, Douglas Olson, Minnesota, a sister-in-law, Mary Feltz, Stratford and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by an infant son, Anthony Michlig, one daughter, Marcella Olson, one sister, Sr. Margo "Theresa" Feltz, one brother Ted Feltz, three sons-in-law, Don Heidelberger, Robert McNeil and Richard Young and one daughter-in-law, Monica Michlig.
