Brown, Ronald F. (8 FEB 1937 - 21 JUN 2010)

Ronald F. Brown, 73, Edgar, died Monday, June 21, 2010 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010, at St. John Lutheran Church-High Steeple, town of Wien. The Rev. Jeffrey A. Lambrecht will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service all at the church.

He was born February 8, 1937 in the town of Frankfort, son of the late Walter and Emma (Totzke) Brown. On August 2, 1958, Ronald married Janice Hamann at St. John Lutheran Church, town of Wien. She survives.

Ronald owned and operated a dairy farm. Among his favorite pastimes, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. He was a member of the Family Dairies USA, Marathon and Lincoln Local, a former District 5 Director and former member of the Board of Directors from 1974 to 2002. Family Dairies USA awarded Ronald the Meritorious Award in 2009.

Survivors include , his wife Janice Brown, Edgar; five children: Douglas Brown, Edgar; Larry (Wendy) Brown, Eau Claire; Beverly (Todd) Schwantes, Oconto Falls; Bruce (Jamie) Brown, Antigo; Stacey Brown, Stratford; six grandchildren: Ashley, Tyler, Molly and Emma Brown, Haley and Zachary Schwantes; one sister, Miriam (Albert) Wolf, Edgar and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
