Clausing Excited to Work with NES (Special Education - 2016)
Rachel Clausing, 24, brings youthful energy to her new position as special
education teacher at Neillsville Elementary School (NES), working with students
in Kindergarten through second grade.
Clausing is a Wisconsin native, growing up in Appleton and graduating in 2010
from Kimberly High School. She lived in Tomahawk for a year and now resides in
Black River Falls with her husband Zach.
She started her post-secondary education path at UW-Milwaukee. After 18 months,
she transferred to UW-Stevens Point, where she graduated in December 2014 with a
Bachelor of Science degree in special education.
Clausing gained experience teaching elementary special education in Wausau.
She loves to spend time outdoors with family and friends.
“I am very excited to work with the students here and get to know the community
of Neillsville,” Clausing said.
