Citizens State Bank of Loyal Gives to The Highground
Greg Glisczinski and Darlene Zschernitz of Neillsville Citizens State Bank of Loyal presented a check for $1,000 to Kay Anason, donation coordinator of The Highground Veterans Park. Many visitors have appreciated the various tributes and programs that are only available because of the generosity of people/businesses like them. Current projects include an upcoming Military Working Dog project, Welcome Center project, 2017 Veterans Retreat, PTSD program (books and counseling), continued newsletter publishing and many more items on The Highground’s wish list. Citizen’s State Bank of Loyal’s donation is appreciated and will help The Highground fulfill its mission to honor veterans and their families and to educated about the cost of things – the human cost.
The next fundraiser is a Winter Bowl to help bring a Highground Retreat July 7-9, 2017. The Winter Bowl will be held at the Marshfield Rose Bowl Jan. 29 from noon until 2L30 p.m. for bowling/raffles/silent auction and fun. Contact The Highground for details and to reserve a lane.
