Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nitz received word of the birth of their first great-granddaughter, Lynette Ann, born to Mr. and Mrs. Larry Peterson of Milwaukee, on August 29, 1969. The Nitz family has nine great-grandsons.

Friday afternoon visitors at the Clifford Manier home were Mr. and Mrs. O.J. Gardner of Pennsylvania and Miss Irma Winkler of Chippewa Falls.

Visitors at the home of Minnie Brandt last Monday were her nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Schmidt and family, and Mrs. John Dammann of Nekoosa, and Mrs. Anna Paap.

Mrs. June Phillippi of Urbana, Ill., and Miss Sharon Phillippi of Thorp, and Mr. and Mrs. Don Miller were Tuesday evening visitors at the Joe Miller home.

Mr. and Mrs. Lavern Hakes and family were Wednesday evening visitors at the Richard Hakes home.

Mrs. Kenneth Austin spent Friday evening with Mrs. Charles Nitz.

Visitors at the Don Miller home during the weekend were Mrs. Betty Johnson and Kim of Janesville, and Mr. and Mrs. Don Ryniec and Gary and Robbie of Janesville.

Mr. and Mrs. Orville Manier and family were Sunday supper guests at the Clifford Manier home.

Mrs. Minnie Brandt spent several days with Mrs. Beth Brandt last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hakes were Sunday dinner guests at the Bill Mitchell home.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller and Mrs. Emma Musselman visited at the Walter Aumann home Wednesday evening.
