Kulesa, Marie I. (Ehlert) (25 DEC 1927 - 19 MAR 2017)
Marie I. Kulesa, 89, formerly of the Town of Taft, died Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Oakbrook Nursing and Rehab Center-Thorp.
She was born on December 25th, 1927 in Neillsville the daughter of the late Arthur and Gertrude
(Galiff) Ehlert. Marie grew up in Neillsville until 1937 when her family purchased a farm in the Town of Taft; South of Gilman. Marie attended the Taft Red Brick Schoolhouse.
She married Joseph Kulesa on October 26th, 1946 at St. John’s Lutheran Church-Yellow River. The couple farmed in the Town of Taft for many years.
Marie is survived by her children, Ron Kulesa of Thorp, Darrell (Diane) Kulesa of Chippewa Falls, Regina (Don) Beauchene of San Pablo, California, Doreen Shatwell of Lublin, Chris (Leon) Peetz of Gilman and Naomi (Bob) Warner of Westboro, many grandchildren, great
grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joseph, 3 brothers, George, Howard and Robert Ehlert and 5 sisters, Verna Hoeck, Velma Hart, Lorraine Kelling, Arline Piater and Elleanor Kulesa.
A funeral service will be at 11AM on Saturday, March 25th at the Gilman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9AM Saturday until time of
