Vesel, David Ar. (4 AUG 1998 – 19 MAR 2017)

David R. Vesel, 18, Greenwood, died on Sunday, March 19, 2017, as the result of a car accident. A celebration of David’s life will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenwood. Rev. Steve Brice will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., on Friday, March 24, and from 10-11 a.m., on Saturday, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenwood.

David Robert Vesel was born on Aug. 4, 1998, in Marshfield, the son of Randy and Sheila (nee Wucherpfennig) Vesel. In high school he was involved in band and the Drama Club. He was also a member of the cross country and baseball teams. David graduated from Greenwood High School in May 2016 and was currently attending Chippewa Valley Technical College and studying welding. While attending college, he was also working at Pizza Hut in Eau Claire.

In his spare time David enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and hanging out with his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Randy and Sheila Vesel of Greenwood; a sister, Danielle Vesel of Greenwood; his grandparents: David and Nancy Wucherpfennig of Medford, and Robert and Vivian Vesel of Greenwood; his aunts and uncles: Keith and Barb Wucherpfennig of Granton, Nicole and Scott Mohr of Edgar, Mike and Julie Vesel of Schofield, Ken and Nicole Vesel of Hayward, and Jerry Vesel of Willard; and many cousins.
