Weis, Susan Marie (21 JAN 1972)

Miss Susan Marie Weis, daughter of Mrs. Marcella Weis, route 2, Marshfield, and Ervin W. Weis, Marshfield, became the bride of Larry Allen Wolf, route 1, Spencer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wolf, route 1, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), on Friday, January 21, 1972.

The couple wed at Bakerville in Corpus Christi Catholic Church, the pastor, the Rev. Donald M. Berg, officiating at the 7 p.m. candlelight, double ring ceremony. Mrs. Arnold Wolf was the organist and Ronald Weis, soloist.

Pat Wolf, Loyal, and Richard Weis, Marshfield, seated the wedding guests at the church. Serving for the ceremony were Joseph and Daniel Weis, Marshfield.

Escorted to the altar by her father, Miss Weis wore a white taffeta gown in an A-line style, with an overskirt of chiffon and a semi-long train. Her veil was waist length and her flowers were a large colonial bouquet of blue and white frosted carnations with mini carnations with wisps of baby breath.

In the wedding party, Judith Weis, Marshfield, was the maid of honor; Mrs. Laurette Bauer, Greenwood and Mrs. Charmain Montgomery, Neillsville, were the bridesmaids. Dennis Wolf, Loyal, was best man, and Dennis Bauer, Greenwood and Ronald Weis, Marshfield, the groomsmen.

The bridal aides wore matching gowns of light and dark blue chiffon over rayon, and carried arrangements of blue and white frosted carnations.

Following the church services, a wedding reception took place at the Marwood Motor Inn, Marshfield with about 125 guests.

Mr. and Mrs. Wolf are residing at Route 2, Spencer, and plan a wedding trip this summer.

He is employed by Trailblazer, Division of Wick Building Systems, and she is employed by Parks Industries, Inc., Marshfield. Mrs. Wolf graduated in 1970 from Marshfield Senior High School, and her husband in 1968 from Loyal High School. He has also served in the U.S. Armed Foreces in Vietnam and was discharged in September 1971.
