Imbach, Betty F. (Judnic) (23 JAN 1930 - 23 MAR 2017)

Betty F. Imbach, 87, of N5064 Ben’s Lane, Medford, passed away on Thursday, March 23 at Care Partners Assisted Living, Medford where she had resided for the past 1 ½ months.

Her funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 27 at OLPH Catholic Church, Whittlesey, with Father Phil Juza & Deacon Joe Stefancin officiating. Interment will follow at OLPH Catholic Cemetery, Whittlesey.

Honorary pallbearers are Tripp Reamer, Tessa Brandner, Carli & Autumn Higgins; active pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Ryan & Alex Imbach, Mike & Maggie Pfaff, Jeremy & Chris Roberts, Danny & Bobby Malchow, Dillon “Monk” Brandner.

Visitation will take place at OLPH Catholic Church, Whittlesey from 4-7 PM on Sunday, March 26 where there will be a 7:00 PM Catholic prayer service held that evening; also from 10 AM until the time of services at 11 AM on Monday, March 27.

Betty was born on January 23, 1930 at Rib Lake, WI, to Joseph and Mary (Mauser) Judnic. She attended Buddy Elementary School, Township of Greenwood and was a graduate of Rib Lake High School.

On November 25, 1950, Betty married Joseph Imbach at OLPH Catholic Church, Whittlesey. He preceded her in death December 9, 2012

Most of her life was spent as a housewife & mother while raising her family. They resided in the Townships of Chelsea and Browning for periods of time. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching & crossword puzzles. She was a member of OLPH Catholic Church, Whittlesey, Medford VFW Auxiliary & the Whittlesey Homemakers Club.

Betty is survived by her children, Betty Jane Roberts of New London, Joan (John) Pfaff of Stetsonville & Nancy Imbach of Phillips; Jerry (Peggy), Jack (Mary), James (Sarah) & Mike (Sharon) Imbach, all of Medford; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

She is also survived by her siblings, Lester (Marylin) Judnic of Merrill & Harvey (Arlene) Judnic of Rib Lake; Angeline Strebig of Medford & Rose Schilling of Mt. Prospect, IL; sisters-in-law: Margaret Fleegel & Marcella Judnic both of Medford, Maggie Gumz of Westboro & Mary Ann Leffel of Colby.

Betty is predeceased by her parents, Joseph Mary (Mauser) Judnic; grandchildren Nikki & Billy Pfaff; siblings Joseph, Carl & Clarence Judnic, and Mary Nezval.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be given to either OLPH Catholic Church, Whittlesey or the Medford VFW Auxiliary
