Milam, Carol J. (25 FEB1927 - 21 MAR 2017)

A funeral service will be at noon on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Christ Community
Church-Jump River with Pastor Joey Olsen officiating.

Burial will follow in Mt. Nebo Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10AM until time of service at the church.

Plombon Funeral Service-Gilman assisted the family.

Carol J. Milam, 90, of Jump River, died Tuesday, March 21st, at St. Clare’s Hospital-Weston.

She is survived by her sons, Joseph (Starr) Milam and James Milam both of Jump River, five grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held for Carol Milam at noon on Saturday, March 25th at Christ Community Church-Jump River with Pastor Joey Olson officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Nebo Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 AM until time of service at the Church.

Plombon Funeral Service-Gilman assisted the family.

Carol J. Milam, 90, of Jump River, died on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Weston.

She was born on Feb. 25, 1927 in Bancroft. Carol moved out west during WWII and on March 22, 1946 she married Marvin Milam in Los Angeles, Calif.

The couple moved to Illinois for a time before settling in Janesville. While there, Carol was a homemaker while Marvin worked for Milwaukee Railroad. In 1978, the couple moved to Jump River and have resided there since.

Carol was a member of Christ Community Church, the Jump River VFW Auxiliary and the Jump River Community Center.

Carol is survived by her sons, Joseph (Starr) Milam and James Milam both of Jump River; five grandchildren, Carolyn (Larry) Monson, Curt (Barb) Mudgett, Kevin (friend Tori) Milam, Joey (Nick) Reich and Brian Locke; seven great-grandchildren, Sarah, Chelsea, Samantha, Casey, Kyler, Sully and Lilly; and two great-great-grandchildren, Conner and Cora.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marvin (1999); daughter, Linda; brothers, Ralph, Russell and Cliff; and sisters, Bessy and Mae Chatterton.

A funeral service was held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 25 at Christ Community Church in Jump River with Pastor Joey Olsen officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Nebo Cemetery.

Visitation was held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Plombon Funeral Service-Gilman assisted the family
