Becker, Linda Lucille (22 APR 1972)

Miss Linda Lucille Becker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Becker Sr., route 1, Auburndale, became the bride Saturday, April 22, 1972, of Darryl John Meyer, 814 E. Fourth St., son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Meyer, route 1, Unity.

The Rev. Joseph M. Wagner, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Auburndale, officiated at the nuptial held at 1 p.m.

Mr. Becker gave his daughter in marriage and Mrs. James Kueffer was organist, as Helen, Mary and Jane Schill sang. An organza gown with cathedral length mantilla had bee selected for her special day by the bride. Her cascade bouquet was of red roses and white carnations.

Wearing floor length gowns of pastel pink sata peau were the bridal aides, Miss Marilyn Becker, Marshfield, and Miss Gail Becker, Auburndale, bridesmaids. Each had a headpiece with a small veil and a colonial bouquet of pink and white carnations. Gary Meyer of Unity served the groom as best man, while Ernest Becker Jr. and Duane Meyer, both of Marshfield, were groomsmen. Billy Wadd of Hibbing, Minnesota, was ring bearer, and Ken Becker and John Wad did ushering duties.

A reception for the young couple and their guests was held at Fahey's Ballroom in Rozellville, with a dance also being held there that evening.

Supper was served in St. Andrew's Catholic Church dining hall, Rozellville.

Mrs. Meyer graduated in 1969 from Auburndale High School and has been employed at Consolidated Badger Co-op, Marshfield. Her husband is employed there and they are making their home at route 1, Auburndale.
