Charles Seefeldt, principal of Greenwood High School, has announced the honor students of the 1972 graduating class at Greenwood High School.

Following are the names of the students who have a 90 or above average, along with their plans for the coming year and their activities through high school. The names are listed in alphabetical order.

Donna Gosar, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Gosar, route 2, Greenwood (Clark Co.), Wisconsin, will be the class valedictorian and Joyce Humboldt, daughter of Mrs. Ruth Humboldt, route 1, Willard (Clark Co.), Wisconsin, is the class salutatorian.

William Bogdonovich, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Bogdonovich, Greenwood, plans to attend the Marathon Campus, University of Wisconsin, Wausau, where he plans to major in Psychology. Bill has been active through high school in Photo Club, Drama Club, Archery Club, Student Council, Forensics, and was his Junior and Senior Class President.

Carol Bukovec, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bukovec, route 1, Greenwood, plans to attend St. Joseph’s Nursing School, Marshfield. Carol has been active in the National Honor Society, Band, Forensics, and the Echo staff.

Kevin Fox, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Fox, route 1, Willard, plans to attend Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa, where he plans to major in radiology. Kevin has been active through high school in the National Honor Society, FBLA, Drama Club, Letterman’s Club, Archery Club, Student Council, Student body president, Football, All-Conference two years, track, basketball, forensics, Homecoming Court, all four years.

Judy Gardner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gardner, route 3, Greenwood, plans to look for secretarial position upon graduation. Judy has been active throughout high school in the National Honor Society, FBLA, Pep Club, Chorus, Forensics, Student Council, and Echo staff.

Donna Gosar, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Gosar, route 2, Greenwood, plans to attend the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, where she plans to major in pre-medicine. Donna has been active throughout high school in the National Honor Society, Library Club, Drama Club, FTA, Spanish club, YARC, Chorus, Echo staff, Annual Staff, Forensics Foreign Exchange student, Laird Youth Leadership Conference and Class Valedictorian.

Carol Govek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Govek, route 1, Willard, plans to attend University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, where she plans to major in Political Science. Carol has been active throughout high school in Drama Club, Library Club, FTA, National Honor Society, Pep Club, and Forensics.

Diane Horn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Horn, route 3, Greenwood, plans to find a job in the medical area. Diane has been active throughout high school in Photo Club, FTA, National Honor Society, Pep Club, Art Club, Chorus, Student Council, and Echo staff.

Joyce Humboldt, daughter of Mrs. Ruth Humboldt, route 1, Willard, plans to attend University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, where she plans to major in occupational therapy. Joyce has been active throughout high school in the National Honor Society, FBLA, FTA, Chorus, Echo staff, Forensics, Badger State Alternate, DAR Ward, and will be Class Salutatorian.

Kenneth Herdrich, son of Mrs. Elaine Herdrich, route 1, Greenwood, plans to attend the University of Wisconsin, Marshfield, where he plans to take the Agriculture Short Course. Ken has been active throughout high school in the National Honor Society, FFA, Badger Boys State.

Linda Koschak, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Koschak, route 1, Willard, has accepted a secretarial position with Thorp Finance at Thorp. Linda has been active throughout high school in FBLA, National Honor Society, Annual Staff and Editor, Pep Club, Chorus, and Forensics.

Michael Mech, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Mech of Greenwood, plans to attend the University of Minnesota to major in medicine. Mike has been active throughout high school in the National Honor Society, Lettermen’s Club, band, basketball, Pep Band, baseball, Badger Boys State, and forensics.

Natalie Nast, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Nast, route 1, Willard, has been an active participant throughout high school in YARC, National Honor Society, and Echo staff.

Patrice Pakiz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pakiz, route 1, Greenwood, plans to attend the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, to major in music therapy. Patrice has been active in high school in the National Honor Society, A.V. club, Drama Club, Spanish Club, Chorus, Band, Student Director and Accompanist, Pep Band, John Phillip Sousa Award, Solo and Ensembles, Badger Girls State, Annual and Echo staff, Forensics, Gifted Guidance Lab.

Joanne Petkovsek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Petkovsek, route 1, Willard, plans to join the Air Force upon graduation. Joanne has been active throughout high school in the National Honor Society, Library Club, YARC, Echo staff and Forensics.

Judy Seliskar, daughter of Mrs. Evelyn Seliskar, route 2, Greenwood, plans to attend University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, to major in Psychology. Judy has been active throughout high school in the National Honor Society, PTA, Library Club, YARC, Spanish Club, Echo staff.

Kim Simonson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Simonson, Greenwood, plans to attend North Central Technical Institute, Wausau, to major in nursing. Kim has been active throughout high school in the National Honor Society, FBLA, Chorus, Drama Club, Pep Club, Cheerleader, Echo and Annual Staff, and Forensics.

Bernadette Stremikis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Stremikis, route 1,, Willard, plans to attend Wisconsin State University, Madison, to major in nursing. Bernadette has bene active throughout high school in the National Honor Society and Library Club, and Echo staff.

Roger Volovsek, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alphonse Volovsek, route 1, Willard, plans to attend Wisconsin State University, Stevens Point and major in math. Roger has been active throughout high school in the National Honor Society, Letterman’s Club, FFA, Band, Football, All-Conference, Basketball, Baseball, Badger Boys State.
