Briski, Pat (27 MAY 1972)

St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenwood was the setting for the marriage between Pat Briski, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), and Bruce Rayhorn, Loyal. The ceremony was performed Saturday, May 27, 1972, at 1 o'clock, with Father Matthew Malnar, cousin of the bride, officiating.

Terry Hoepner sang as Pat Pakiz played the organ.

The daughter of Frank L. Briski and the late Mildred Briski of Greenwood (Clark Co.) was given in marriage by her father to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Rayhorn, Loyal.

The bride was seen in a gown of lace and organza, with built in chapel train which was styled with a molded empire bodice of lace, having a sequin bearded split mandarin collar and bishop sleeves. The veil was secured to a profile headpiece of lace and taffeta trimmed with pearls and satin streamers. She carried Phalaenopsis orchids, stephanotis, baby's breath and green ivy.

Mrs. Virginia Meyer, sister of the bride, Unity, was the matron of honor, with Miss Lana Rayhorn, Loyal, Miss Judy Zettler, Loyal, and Miss Rita Martini, Owen, as bridesmaids.

The bridesmaids wore gowns with white fitted bodice and orchid chiffon skirt and high collar. The cuffs on the puffed sleeves and the waistline were circled with white Venice lace. They carried baskets of daisies, lilacs and baby's breath.

Nancy Meyer was the flower girl, with Jayson Weichelt as the ring bearer.

Jerry Poehnelt, Loyal, was the best man, with Al Roder, Loyal, Jeff Rayhorn, Marinette, and Frank Briski, Green Bay, as the groomsmen. Tom Brussow and Larry Meyer were the ushers.

After a reception at Wild Cat Inn, a dance was held at the Silver Dome.

The new Mrs. Rayhorn is a graduate of Greenwood High School and is employed at the Citizens State Bank of Loyal. Her husband is a graduate of Loyal High School (1968) and will be a December 1972 graduate of UW, La Crosse.

The couple will reside at 231 N. Main St., Loyal.
