Mrs. Michael Mantik, 48, Town of Johnson, died Friday afternoon at 4 o’clock when she suffered a heart attack while attending a wedding reception at Owen. Death occurred shortly after she was stricken. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at one o’clock from the family home and at two o’clock from the Milan Gospel Tabernacle, the Rev. H. A. Ulrich, Milwaukee, officiating. He was assisted by Rev. William Grams of Athens and the Milan pastor, Mrs. Elmer Jenson. The Rev. Ulrich sang a solo “Heaven Is My Home” and Miss Eunice Paulson, Wausau, sang a solo, “Sweet Peace the Gift of God’s Love.” Internment was made in the Evangelical church cemetery at Milan.
