Seefeldt, Hugh (30 JUN 1914 – 26 AUG 1972)

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon for Hugh Seefeldt, 58, of Prentice, a former resident of the Spencer area, who died Saturday at his home of an apparent heart attack. The service was held in the First Lutheran Church at Ogema, and burial was made there.

Hugh Seefeldt was born in the town of Unity (Clark Co., Wis.) June 30, 1914, and graduated from Spencer High School in 1934. He lived in the Spencer area until he moved to Prentice in 1958.

He is survived by his wife; five daughters, Mrs. Mel (Donna) Lindau, Neillsville; Mrs. Jack (Janet) Kaiser, Milladore; Mrs. Gary (Janis) Ewald, Spencer; Mrs. Nell (Jan) Neeb, Hastings, Minn.; and Mrs. Nadine Blanchard, Prentice; his father, Frank Seefeldt, Prentice; a brother, Walter Seefeldt, Unity; and 19 grandchildren.

His mother and a son preceded him in death.
