Mr. and Mrs. Merle Bartsch and Jay went to Milwaukee on Friday evening, where Merle attended a state meeting of the Credit Unions. They returned on Saturday evening.

Little Ronnie Bartsch, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bartsch, was baptized at Zion Lutheran Church following the regular service on Sunday morning by Rev. Roehrs. Sponsors are Mrs. Helen Garbisch and John, and Kay Bartsch.

The FHA girls of Granton High School held a Halloween party for the various grades at the school on Sunday evening. Kay Bartsch and Diane Zaleski entertained the second graders with games and stories at the 7:30 to 9:30 event. A good time was had by all.

On Saturday the wrestling squad, accompanied their coach, Steven Nelson, to Eau Claire for a wrestling clinic. The season will begin very soon.

The Romadka 4-H Club plans to hold their annual Parent's Nigh at the York Town Hall on Saturday evening, November 4. The year's awards and recognition of outstanding work will be given to the members. Mrs. William Naedler Jr is the General Leader.
