Trimble, Robert L. (14 JUN 1930 – 31 OCT 1972)

Robert L. Trimble, 42, of Rochester, Indiana, formerly of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), was killed Tuesday, October 31, 1972, in a farm accident, when he was caught in a self-unloading forage wagon.

He was born in Barrington, June 14, 1930, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Trimble. He married Mary Ann Raabe in Libertyville, November 24, 1956.

They had farmed near Marengo for 10 years, moving to Loyal, Wis., where they had lived for three years. Three weeks ago they moved to Rochester, Indiana.

He was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal, Wis. He was a Korean War veteran, 1951-1953.

Surviving are the widow; three sons, Robert, Raymond and Jeff; three daughters, Jill, Janet and Mary Lisa, all at home; his father, Rank Trimble of Deerfield, and three sisters, Mrs. Hector (Betty) Aguillar, Mrs. Harold (Patsy) Ahrens Jr., both of Deerfield, and Mrs. Juan (Helen) Arrizola of Dilly, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his mother and one sister.

Funeral services were held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Osborne Funeral Home, Marengo, Ill., the vicar, Robert Bruesehoff, of Zion Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial was made in Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines.
