Becker, Florence (22 JUL 1917 – 11 DEC 1972)

Florence Becker, route 1, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), died December 11, 1972 at Neillsville Memorial Hospital at 4:45.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthon's Catholic Church, and burial will take place in St. Anthony's Cemetery. The Rev. Norbert King will officiate and the Rinka Funeral Home is in charge of services.

The former Florence Goetz was born July 22, 1917, in the town of York in Clark County and was educated in the rural schools. She was married June 19, 1941 at Loyal, to Delbert Becker, who survives her.

Mrs. Becker was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and St. Mary's Altar Society.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Becker is survived by three sons, Arnold, Loyal, James, Rt. 1, Greenwood, and Jerome, Marshfield; her father, John Goetz, rt. 1, Greenwood; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Margaret) Fenner, South St. Paul, Minn., and Mrs. Herman (Lucille) Noeldner, Loyal; and one brother, Romie Goetz, Neillsville, and four grandchildren.

The parish Council of Catholic Women held a rosary at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, with a general rosary at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
