Pleasant Ridge (15 May 1919)

Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Huckstead had Grandma Vine out for a ride Sunday afternoon. Grandma is feeling better and we all enjoy seeing her out again.

Geo. Wilding and wife were out and spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Jim King.

W.W. Smith had the misfortune to break his leg one day last week. He also lost one of his best cows.

Little Edna Shealer had the bad luck to fall from a wagon and break her arm.

Mrs. Clifford Blackman came back from Fond du Lac Saturday night, where she has been spending a few days with the Jerry Randall family.

Arlo Huckstead moved his family back on their farm last Thursday. It seems good to have them back with us again.

Geo. Vine and family attended church at Granton Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Lon Huckstead and daughter, May, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Huckstead and daughter, Florence, and Mrs. Vina Sweetland drove to Marshfield Saturday to see Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Huckstead.

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Wren and his brother, Frank, accompanied by W. Wilson drove to Marshfield Sunday.

Mrs. Edna Major spent last Monday and Tuesday on the Ridge, visiting her brother, Fred and Geo. Vine, Wednesday.
