Staniec, Joanne Marie (7 JUN 1969)

Wedding guests were seated by Dennis Petersen and Fred Stendel at the St. Olaf Catholic Church in Eau Claire to witness the marriage of Miss Joanne Marie Staniec and David Allen Wittek at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, 1969.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Staniec, Eau Claire, was given in marriage to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wittek, route 1, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), with Father Myron Meinen officiating. The St. Olaf Choir sang Psalm 128 and Russell Champion was the soloist.

For her wedding the bride wore a gown of embroidered organza with miniature pearls. Her pearl crown had a bridal illusion veil. For her bouquet she chose white daisies.

Miss Diane Staniec, Eau Claire, was the maid of honor, and Miss Rhonda Mattson, Owen and Miss Susan Wittek, Withee, were the bridesmaids. They wore yellow flowered voile dresses, yellow daisies were carried and yellow daisy headpieces.

Serving as the best man was Tom Wittek of Withee, and David Hintz, Delavan, and Joe Soprych, Chicago, were groomsmen.

A reception followed in the church parlor and the wedding reception dance was held at the Eau Claire Temple Lounge.

Mrs. Wittek attended the Wisconsin State University in Eau Claire, where she is a Junior, and Mr. Wittek will be a senior next fall at WSU, River Falls.

The couple will make their home in River Falls.
