(Death Date taken from Town of Beaver Cemetery Listing)

Unity, July 28, 1933 – Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist Church here yesterday afternoon for Peter Fritz, 69, who died Sunday at his home near Melfort, Saskatchewan, Canada. Burial took place in the town of Beaver Cemetery, with the Rev. S.E. Bushendorf officiating.

Mr. Fritz's death followed an accident which occurred on July 12, when he fell while working in his barn, and suffered injuries to the hip and shoulder. Death was ascribed to heart failure.

Mrs. Fritz died on March 2, 1906, and two sons also preceded him in death. Four daughters and two sons and 14 grandchildren survived him. The children are: Mrs. Herbert Liepert, Melfort, Canada; Mrs. C.Y. Davey, Los Angeles, California; Mrs. R.A. Stormont, Rockford, Ill.; Miss Lila Fritz, Rockford; and Leo and Theodore, Hudson Bay Junction, Canada.
