Wisnewski, Lisa A. (28 MAR 1960 - 23 SEP 2017)

Lisa A. Wisnewski, 57, Wausau formerly of Edgar, died Saturday, September 23, 2017 at her home.

She was born March 28, 1960 in Antigo, daughter of the late Arthur and Bernice (Spychalla) Wisnewski.

Lisa worked at various nursing homes around the Wausau area for many years. She most recently worked at Safeco Select. Lisa was an avid Green Bay Packers fan but also enjoyed watching other professional teams and college teams as well.

Family was very important to Lisa. She enjoyed calling her friends and family on the phone and talking for hours on end. Her passion for caring for the elderly and visiting with them will never be forgotten.

Survivors include her brother, Art Wisnewski, Florida and many cousins and friends.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her companion of many years, her dog Babe, which she loved dearly and missed her daily.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. The Rev. Thomas Huff will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.
