The 1970 Spring Commencement of Wisconsin State University, Eau Claire, will take place this coming Saturday, May 30, 1970, at 9:45 a.m. in the University Arena.

Receiving degrees are seven persons from the Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) area. They included the following:

Barbara Ellen Smiley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leland E. Smiley, attending the School of Education, majoring in Biology, will receive a Bachelor of Science Degree.

Darlene Mae Szemraj attending the Arts and Sciences School, majoring in Medical Technician, will receive a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology.

Nancy Ann Meyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Meyer, attending the School of Education, majoring in English, will receive a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Peter James McGillivray, whose wife Mary is the art teacher in the Thorp Public School, attending the School of Business, will receive a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration.

Anthony Steve Welgos, son of Walter and Ella Welgos, attending the School of Business, will receive a Degree in Bachelor of Business Administration.

Elizabeth Ann Tobola, daughter of William and Julia Tobola, majoring in Spanish, minor in English and Psychology, attending the School of Education, will receive a degree in Bachelor of Arts.

Janice Katherine Schmidt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond W. Schmidt, attending the School of Business, majoring in management, will receive a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration.
