Segerstrom, Roy (24 MAY 1899 – 26 JUN 1970)

Services were held at 1:15 p.m. Monday, June 29, 1970, at the Hoper and Kraut Funeral Home at Owen for Roy Segerstrom, 71, of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), who died Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

The Reverend Hilding Peterson, pastor of the United Church of Christ, officiated, and burial was made in Rover Falls Cemetery. Masonic services were held at the funeral Home Sunday evening.

Mr. Segerstrom was born May 24, 1899 at River Falls, where he received his education. He was married in Minnesota August 6, 1930, to Helen Dawson, who survives him. He had been in the lumber business for about 40 years, first at Spring Valley, Wisconsin and later at Owen.

He was a 50-year member of the American Legion; a member of the Owen Masonic Lodge, and had served as master of the Masonic Lodges in Owen, Spring Valley and at River Falls. He also was a member of the Neillsville Knights Templar Commandery, and a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include his wife and two sons, David Segerstrom, New Lisbon, and Robert Segerstrom.
