Denzine, Jerry A. (29 JUL 1952 - 3 NOV 2017)

Jerry A. Denzine, 65, Rhinelander, formally of Medford, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rhinelander.

Jerry was born on July 29, 1952 in Medford, WI to the late Lawrence and Florence (Bender) Denzine. He attended Medford High School where he graduated in 1970.

He loved everything to do with the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed every moment he spent with his family, including morning coffee with his brothers and sisters or anyone else that would come to the house. Jerry established Denzine Logging in 1987 and worked there until his passing. He was a member of the National Guard from 1970 until 1976.

Jerry is survived by his significant other Cindy Harlow of Rhinelander; Children: Lisa (Scott) Higgins of Medford, Brian (Amy Martin) Denzine of Vesper, Clayton (Barb) Denzine of Medford, Amber (Tony) Wittlin of New London; Sisters: Darlene (Dick Franke) Brost of Medford, Beverly Zuleger of Medford; Brothers: Gene (Joyce) Denzine of Medford, Russell (Julie) Denzine of Medford, Wayne (Pat) Denzine of Medford; Grandchildren: Seth, Mariah, Madeline, Cole, Cassidy, Jennalyn, Austin, Sophia, Amelia, Alyssa, Ashton and Kolton; Great Granddaughter: Adalyn

In addition to his parents Jerry is preceded in death by his brother-in-law’s Jack Zuleger and Donald Brost

A Prayer Service will take place at 7:00 PM Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Hemer Funeral Home, Medford. Visitation will be held at Hemer Funeral Home, Medford on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Jerry’s family to be designated at a later date.

Hemer Funeral Service of Medford and Rib Lake has been entrusted with arrangements.
