Hardrath, Glen E. (20 MAR 1955 - 29 DEC 2017)

Glen E. Hardrath, age 62, of Green Grove, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 at his residence.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen. Rev. Nancy Amacher will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Luke's Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Beaver. Family and friends are welcome from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.

Glen was born on March 20, 1955, the son of Harold and Dorthaleen (Edwards) Hardrath in Marshfield. He graduated from Loyal High School and farmed in the Town of Green Grove.

Glen served for many years as a director on the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, The Clark County Farm Bureau and was the President of the Clark County Dairy Promotion Committee for a few years. He was a dedicated member of St. Luke's Lutheran congregation and joined Nazareth Lutheran in Withee as well. Glen enjoyed hunting and many years on bowling, pool and horseshoe leagues.

Glen is survived by four children: Travis (Pam) Hardrath of Spencer, Troy (Lucinda) Hardrath Spencer, Tyler Hardrath of Colby and Heather (Cory) Brockel of Eau Claire; five grandchildren: Kyler, Cadyn, Ryan and Zoreyna Hardrath and Jordan Bonnar and a great-granddaughter, Bailey Chamberlain. He is further survived by his sister, Luanne Schwarze of Unity; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Trent and a brother-in-law, Vern Schwarze.
