Fryza, John (16 JUN 1889 – 23 NOV 1970)

John Fryza, 81, passed away November 23, 1970 at his home norther of Lublin (Taylor Co., Wis.). Funeral services were held November 27, 1970 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church in Lublin. Father Roman Misiewicz and Father Anthony Maila officiated, and burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Louis Stokosa Sr., Ed Budrus, William Bereza, John Sarafin, Felix Nowak, and Mike Nowak.

Mr. Fryza was born June 16, 1899 in Poland. He came to the states in 1908, settling in Lublin. He was united in marriage July 1919 to Vernie Konczak in the Town of Roosevelt, Lublin. He was a member of the Z.N>P. for over 50 years.

Surviving are: his wife, Vernie; two sons, Edmund Fryza of Lublin, and Chester Fryza of Spencer; three daughters, (Martha) Mrs. Frank Zuber of Lublin, Mrs. Helen Meyers Cruso of Chicago, and (Stella) Mrs. Edward Komperda of Hanover Park, Illinois; eighteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Those attending the funeral were: Mrs. Paul Lonczak of Cary, Illinois, Joe Konczak, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Konczak, also guests from Thorp, Chicago, Lublin, Milwaukee, Wisconsin Rapids, and Spencer.
