Kellman, Marlene Jill (Marriage – 5 October 1974)

The United Methodist Church, Loyal, was the setting Saturday, October 5, for the wedding of Miss Marlene Jill Kellman and Brian Charles Johnston. The Rev. Gene Carlson officiated at the 3 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Mr. and Mr. Ralph Kellman, Kenosha, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Neil Johnston, Loyal.

The bride’s gown of white lace with blue trim was complemented by a bouquet of white carnations with blue-tinted daisies.

White lace trimmed the gown worn by matron-of-honor Sharon Seeman, Loyal. Her flowers were blue daisies with accenting white carnations.

Vaughn Seeman, Loyal, served as best man.

A reception was held at the Amber Inn at Loyal.

A 1967 graduate of Tremper High School (Kenosha), the bride is employed as a secretary by a Marshfield firm. Her husband graduated from Loyal High School in 1965, and from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1972.

The couple will live in Spencer.
