Mr. Albert Wink Sr. celebrated his 88th birthday on Thursday, the 18th of February, 1971, at the home of his son, Albert Jr. The evening began with a home mass offered by Father Joseph Walijewski. Sister Kathleen, Sister Barbara, and Sister Mary Ann assisted with the singing and mass prayers. Present for the evening were: Albert Wink Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Welciek, , Mrs. Bertha Pawlak, Mr. and Mrs. John Orzechowski, John Jr., Mike and Eddie, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Chmelik, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hodorowski, Mrs. Frank Hodorowski, Jerry and Marvin, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Wink, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Spaeth, Mrs. Dennis Thuecks, Pat and Annette, Mrs. Thoams Pawlak, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Licht and Arlene, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Jacque, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Jacques, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schmidt, Mrs. Theresa Grendzinski and family, Mrs. Linda Schultz, and Mr. Joe Keller. Everyone joined in singing "Happy Birthday" for Grandpa Wink as he blew out the candles on his cake, after which a potluck lunch was served.
