LaVerne Edith Fischer, 83, Medford, died Saturday, May 17, 2003, at Memorial Nursing & Rehab Center in Medford.

Funeral services are Tuesday, May 20 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Medford, with Rev. Carroll Vananda officiating. Burial will be in Medford Evergreen Cemetery II.

Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation is Monday at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford from 4 to 8 p.m. There is a 7 p.m. VFW Auxiliary service planned.
