For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Nielsen chose a moss green suit with white accessories. Mrs. Dalida, mother of the groom, chose an apricot ensemble with bone accessories. Each mother was presented with a white orchid corsage.

A reception was held in the church parlors following the ceremony.
