Miss Lois Jean Nielsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vic Nielsen, Phillips, Wisconsin, and Mr. LeRoy Francis Dalida, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dalida, Minneapolis, Minnesota, were united in marriage Saturday, April 4, 1970, in a 2 p.m. nuptial mass performed by Father Keefe at St. Williams Catholic Church, Fridley, Minnesota.

Mrs. Theresa Cotter was organist, and Mrs. JoAnn Cartwright was soloist for the ceremony.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length gown of white embossed linen of the Victorian era. The collar, empire waist, and cuffs of the bell sleeves were trimmed with lace. The train, which fell from the waist, was also trimmed with lace. She wore an elbow length veil, with a pillbox headpiece of matching linen, and carried a pendulum bouquet of white gardenias and white roses.

Miss Sally Nielsen, Phillips, Wis., who attended her sister as maid of honor, wore a purple crepe gown styled like the bride's. She wore a matching purple hair bow and carried a basket of lavender elegance and violet goddess carnations.

James Aarnio, Minneapolis, Minn., a friend of the groom, served as best man. John Nielsen, brother of the bride, and Wayne Dalida, brother of the groom, seated the guests.

For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Nielsen chose a moss green suit with white accessories. Mrs. Dalida, mother of the groom, chose an apricot ensemble with bone accessories. Each mother was presented with a white orchid corsage.

A reception was held in the church parlors following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Denver, Colorado, the couple will reside at 3303 93rd Curve, Blaine, Minnesota.

The bride, a 1966 graduate of Phillips High School, is employed as a secretary at Foley Manufacturing Company, Minneapolis. The groom, a 1964 graduate of Columbia Heights High School, is employed at Northwestern Bell Telephone Company, Minneapolis.

Out of town guests came from Phillips, Withee, Owen, Superior, Stevens Point, Eau Claire, Bloomer and New Richmond, Wis.; St. Paul, Monticello and Hibbing, Minn.; and Mt. Prospect, Ill.
