Rodgers, Kenneth A. (16 June 1911 - 9 November 1974)

Funeral services for Kenneth A. Rodgers were held November 12 from Grace United Methodist Church. The Rev. Eugene Antrim, pastor, and the Rev. Gene Carlson, pastor of the United Methodist Church of Loyal, officiated. Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Military rites were conducted by the Wallis-Hinker American legion Post, No. 238.

Pallbearers, all nephews were: Lyle, Hugh and James Christie, LaVerne, Rodgers and Herbert Cummings. Legionnaire honorary pallbearers were: Alvin Klinke, Harold Hendrickson, Cletus Susa, John f. Trunkel, Thomas Elmer and Alphonse Hemersbach.

Kenneth Speich, commander of the local post, presented the flag. Buglers were: Margaret Speich and Katie Yurkovich. Member of the post attended in a body.

Relatives and friends attending came from Bancroft, Plainfield, Almond, Madison, Wauwatosa, Whitefish Bay, Eau Claire, Osseo, Neillsville, Willard, Owen, Loyal, Milwaukee and McHenry, Il.

Gary Schultz sang, “The Lord’s Prayer,” with Mrs. Gary Schultz as organist.
